Hi everyone,
So Kickstarter just released more information about the exciting new feature late pledges.
This new guide seems to suggest that this new feature can only be activated while a campaign is still active, and by the looks of it, it’s designed so that post-campaign pledges can only be made for a limited time.
What this unfortunately means is that I won’t be able to offer rewards from our existing campaigns as I suggested might be possible in our previous update.
You are, however, still able to purchase digital copies of our back issues from Amazon and Drive Thru Comics from our publisher Markosia.
But what I can say is that I will definitely be looking into the advantages of this new feature (as well as all of the other new features Kickstarter are bringing in!) for our next campaign.
That’s right: our next campaign! Zip #3 is shaping up to be our longest, most action packed issue yet.
It’s going to be a critique of generative AI, with influences from The Terminator and Star Trek’s The Borg. It’ll also see the return of these shady characters from issue 1:

So if you were wondering who they are and who they work for, you’ll definitely want to check out our next issue!
I’m working very hard to get this next one made so that we can get the campaign into prelaunch.
The biggest barrier at the moment is raising some money to pay our team’s advance fees. I quit my day job for personal reasons at the end of last year, and I’ve been looking for a new one, but the job market’s been quite a bit tougher than I was (perhaps naively) expecting.
But unfortunately there’s really not a whole lot any of you can do to help with that. I only mention it to say that I am ready to go with the next issue. All I can say is that I’m going to make it happen as soon as possible.
I wish I could give a finite timeframe for when we’ll be able to move to the artwork phase of production, but I can’t. It really is as frustrating for me as it is for you!
What you can do is follow my creator profile here on Kickstarter so that you get updated when our next project goes to prelaunch.

KS campaign for Shaun Of The Dead inspired Bristolian comic Neverlast has 5 days left to go!

Mike Ranahan, one of the people working at my local comic ship Excelsior, has five days remaining on the second issue of his zombie romance comic!
It’s for the second issue of his comic Neverlast: a romance story which just happens to take place during a zombie apocalypse.
He describes it as “a tale on the endearing defiance of fledgling love falling face first into the festering undead! It’s ‘500 Days of Summer’ meets ‘28 Days Later’!”
Check out the campaign for that here. I’ve even actually remembered to include a link to it this time and everything.
