A comic about imperfect superhumans (secretly about disability).

Zip #5 is coming soon!

Zip #5: Don’t Miss The Finale Of Our First Collected Graphic Novel

Black and white comic book art. The dark skyline of fairground at night. The shadow of a huge Ferris wheel can be seen against the sky.

Our latest issue has prelaunched on Kickstarter!

This marks the finale of Zip volume one, which means that Zip issues #1-5 will be collected into our first graphic novel/trade paperback omnibus.

Readers who prefer long form comics will now be able to get a Zip graphic novel from our publisher Markosia, when they back our latest Kickstarter campaign!

Of course, you’ll still be able to pick up our new issue (and any back issues you want) as single issue floppies as well!

In this installment…

Black and white comic book art of a fairground landscape. There is a rollercoaster in the distance shrouded in shadow, and a big top tent in the foreground.

Zip is grappling with a decision: now that she’s opening up to the world, can she allow herself to be vulnerable enough to reveal her secret identity to the man she’s dating?

There’s a funfair in town, and she’s steeling her courage to tell him when they visit. But something else has made its way to the carnival grounds: a cryptid which induces vivid, nightmarish hallucinations in everyone around it by projecting mind-altering infrasound.

Black and white comic book art of a spider-like cryptic creature hiding in the shadows.

With fairground goers and workers alike running around in delusional terror, the carnival rides have been left running – ready to slice through anyone who stumbles through their path.

Can Zip fight her fears and remain lucid enough to save them – and herself?

Catch Up On The Series

Black and white comic art. A woman wearing goggles and a tracksuit inspired superhero costume is running at superspeed from an explosion. Behind her, a skeletal robot with a huge tail has been caught in the blast.

Zip is written to be episodic enough that you can pick it up from any issue, but serial enough that it rewards ongoing readers.

For those new to the series, you can read the first five pages of Zip issue 1 here.
