A comic about imperfect superhumans (secretly about disability).

Late pledges available for Zip #4

Zip #3 Comes To Amazon/Comixology on The 21st of April ! Plus: first Look At Print Copies.

I have some exciting news on Zip issue 3, both about Markosia’s digital edition and about Kickstarter exclusive printer copies, as well as some photos from Bristol Comic Con. So let’s get into it!

Zip Issue 3 is coming to eReaders from the 21st of April

Zip is coming to Amazon/Comixology on the 21st of April from our publisher Markosia! Our first two issues are already available there for you to catch up on the series if you haven’t read them already. Please leave us a review if you have!

If you aren’t an Amazon user you can also read Zip in digital format via DriveThruComics. You can find issue one here, and issue two here.

Photos from Bristol Comic Con

We had a table at Bristol Comic Con last month selling print copies of our first two issues. It was a really successful day, and we had some really nice social media feedback on the back of it:

It's Wednesday, it's #WeReadsComics day. Here's some #comicbooks I'm digging this week 📖💙@dstlry.bsky.social @benjamindickson.bsky.social @henryflint.bsky.social @robbiemorrison.bsky.social @zipcomicuk.bsky.social

So without further adieu: photos!

I also ran into my friend and fellow neurodivergent author Jennifer Drewett, who also had a table at the event selling copies of her fantasy novel:

If you like the look of those print comics, I have some good news for you…

A Look at Print Copies of Zip Issue 3

I recently received print proofs of Zip issue 3 from our printer Stuart Lloyd Gould!

Photo of the three available covers for the print comic versions of Zip issue three. The first cover by Francesco Tomaseli depicts Zip, the title character, running at super speed past some buildings. The next cover by Matt Schoffield depicts Zip running from a two headed robot firing miniguns at her. The third cover by San Espina depicts the horrifying process of Zip morphing into a machine herself.

The first people to get these print single issues will be our Kickstarter backers: I’m currently waiting on getting a big batch of them in the post from Stuart, so that’ll be pretty soon!

After that, if you’d like a copy (or copies of our first two issues) you’ll be able to get them at any other conventions we attend (TBA).

If you can’t make it to a convention we’re at, late pledges for our print comics are still active on Kickstarter. You’ll be able to order physical Zip comics through the campaign until our next issue goes to prelaunch.

But don’t delay: that may be sooner than you think! Stay tuned for updates about Zip issue 4!
