A comic about imperfect superhumans (secretly about disability).

Late pledges available for Zip #4

All rewards are now shipped!

Hi everyone,

In the image above, you’re seeing a big stack of copies of Zip #2!

I was burning the midnight oil over the weekend packaging everyone who backed this campaign with physical rewards.

This was all following a nice visit from Stuart Lloyd Gould, who delivered the stock in person.

Stuart has been printing indie comics in the UK for decades, and most recently has launched his own Kickstarter campaigns for books he’s written, including an autobiographical story entitled My Nervous Breakdown, and a children’s book called Nuts.

Having stayed up all night on Friday and packaged everything ready to go to the post office on Saturday, I promptly… collapsed from sleep depravation and missed Royal Mail’s cut off time.

The post office is closed on Sundays due to British trading regulations, so on Monday I went out and shipped everyone’s physical rewards.

Based on Royal Mail’s delivery times, I’d estimate that that means:

  • UK backers will have their physical rewards within one week
  • US backers will have their physical rewards within two weeks

With that done, the campaign is set to reach essentially 100% fulfilment soon, for all those who’ve filled in their reward surveys.

Zip #3 has already been written!

Who is the industrial goliath from Zip’s nightmares? Zip #3 holds another piece of the puzzle!

One more thing: this is just a reminder that the script for Zip issue 3 is already written. I just need to get together some savings to pay our freelancers’ advance fees so that we can begin work.

So if you’d like updates about that, you can like our Facebook page, follow our Instagram or our Twitter account, or follow my creator profile here on Kickstarter.

If you’re just finding out about the series and you want to catch up, you can do that here!
